Beaumont Technologies has recently acquired the Autodesk MoldFlow material characterization business that services North America and Europe.

Fisa manufactures and sells ultrasonic cleaning machines to remove gassing residues, oils, grease, rust and other unwanted contaminants without damaging molds.

Smart Attend will introduce its Pro device, a remote monitoring system featuring real-time analysis capabilities that can be accessed from virtually anywhere in the world.

CGS will introduce Version 13 of its CAM-Tool software for 3D machining of molds and dies.

SST will showcase Milllutensil spotting presses, designed to enable easier adjusting, checking and repairing of complex molds.

Marposs will feature its WRP60P and WRP45P touch probes with multichannel radio transmission, designed for machine part measurement on high-accuracy five-axis machining centers and milling machines.

Among its mold polishing equipment and supplies, Boride Engineered Abrasives offers the Foredom portable micromotor, capable of fine detailing, polishing and even grinding on metal, wood, glass and other materials.

Developed in partnership with Vision GmbH, Alliance Laser’s MobileFlexx Toolroom Laser System is said to be highly mobile, extremely flexible, and self-contained with all tools and materials necessary for in-shop laser welding.

Foundations of AM for Toolmaking and Injection Molding

Developed specifically for Amerimold, this UL workshop is a discussion-oriented session in which participants receive comprehensive introductory knowledge of the Additive Manufacturing (AM) / 3D Printing industry. Covering terms and definitions, software and hardware as well as discussing applications and case studies, participants will begin to understand the benefits of AM in a way that is relevant to tool making and injection molding. Paul Bates, a recognized AM-industry veteran, leads this lively half-day course designed for engineers, designers, and business professionals.
