Happy Birthday, America. Tomorrow the United States of America will celebrate its 241st year of independence. It’s fitting that we celebrate our nation’s successes and never forget those who built this country from the ground up, with blood, sweat, tears and a ton of determination and innovation. I believe the U.S. manufacturing industry is one of the “legs” that helped raise the United States to be a leader on so many levels, and if we continue to nurture this industry by working to bridge the skills gap and doing what we do best: Researching, Innovating and Inventing, we’ll continue to be a country that every American can be proud of.
I put together a short slide show today that is a compilation of images captured over the last year by myself and by others. I wanted to show a display of American patriotism in manufacturing and I hope you enjoy it.
