The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) installed its 2019-2020 board on July 1, 2019. The nine-member board is comprised of both elected and appointed positions, and each board member serves as an officer of the organization. The board’s primary responsibilities will be to build and oversee the 2020 AMUG Conference and architect an organizational structure that will support the ongoing growth of this annual event.
Superior Die Set Corporation President and CEO Frank Janiszewski announced that the company has hired a new CEO, Martin Girga, to lead the organization. Over the past 96 years, the company’s many employees, under the leadership of three generations of Janiszewskis, have made Superior a global leader in the industry. This pivotal change will position Superior, its clients and employees for continued greatness.
Kinichi Kato has been named president of Mitsui Seiki Kogyo, Ltd., the parent company of Mitsui Seiki USA, Inc. Kato has been with Mitsui Seiki for 40 years, having joined the company in 1979 as an assembly engineer. He progressed from engineering assignments to management positions in production, machine tool sales, service and business planning.
Walter announced the appointment of two new regional channel development managers to support its overall sales organization, channel partner relationships and aggressive business growth strategy. Appointed were Jagear Novak-Isackson in the position of channel development manager, west zone, and Gregg Engler to the position of channel development manager, east zone.
As part of its continued efforts to provide customers with the highest level of service, United Grinding North America has announced several organizational changes and promotions. These changes, which include an expanded executive vice-presidential position and a planned transition of leadership for the Tool Division, will serve as a further investment in the company’s ability to provide innovative grinding, measuring and eroding technologies to customers across the continent.
