Happy Manufacturing Day!
Today is Manufacturing Day and there are 1,433 events planned! I will be part of a facility tour and presentations at The Rodon Group in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, a plastic injection molder of K'Nex toys about 20 minutes from my office. Where will you be today?
I'm excited to head off this afternoon to The Rodon Group's Manufacturing Day event. It will kick off with a brief presentation, then a facility tour, followed by a Q and A session. The Rodon Group is a plastic injection molder making billions of parts each year in its 125,000 square foot facility, offering mold design, mold building and high volume parts manufacturing. One product line they design and build the molds for as well as mold the parts, is the K'Nex toys. And yes, I'm secretly hoping to get a sample to bring back to my 10-year-old son. Hey, we ARE supposed to be getting that next generation excited!
