Happy Manufacturing Day 2024! This video highlights personal journeys of young professionals in the moldmaking industry, sharing how they found fulfilling and lucrative career opportunities. Created with support from key moldmaking organizations, the video continues to inspire and educate the next generation about the impactful career paths within mold manufacturing.
Back in 2015, we embarked on a mission to showcase the rewarding and lucrative career paths available in moldmaking. The goal was simple yet powerful: let young professionals in the industry share their personal journeys to inspire the next generation. We partnered with key industry organizations like the American Mold Builders Association, the Society of the Plastics Industry Mold Technologies Division, NyproMold and Creative Technology Corp. to bring this idea to life through video.
This video, which focuses on the NyproMold/Nypro team and their work on an IV tube check valve that can save lives, offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at the people and processes that drive mold manufacturing. Beyond just showcasing cutting-edge technology, the video emphasizes the opportunities available for creative, tech-savvy individuals who want to make a difference.
This is a recruitment tool that still stands the test of time. As we celebrate Manufacturing Day 2024 today, I encourage you to watch and share this timeless video with schools, local communities and government officials. If you missed it back then, now’s your chance to revisit or discover this inspiring piece.
