Facilities and Distribution Expansions Enable Business Shift

At NPE2018, Edro focuses on three top pieces of news. Edro is the exclusive distributor of Bohler steels. Edro is the exclusive distributor for MoldMax alloys in Europe and Key Distributor in North America, and Edro is opening a new warehouse in Schaumburg, Illinois, to enhance its Midwest presence.

Edro is changing from a company focused on high quality stainless holder material, including its custom mold base manufacturing, to a full-fledged plastic molding entity. Its new key mission is “Innovative Tooling Solutions for the Plastics Industry.” This is also the company’s booth theme, which includes coatings, additive, nonferrous materials, steels and machining. Edro doubles its booth size in comparison to its space at NPE2015. It is 25 x 50'. It has an infrared camera for mold flow analysis and augmented reality showing the tool failure mechanism.
