Changes Coming For How You Access MMT Content
MMT has started asking new readers to share their contact information to access premium editorial content.

Starting on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, MoldMaking Technology will begin “gating” our staff-produced premium content. This means that new website users will be asked to provide a few details — name, title, company and email — before receiving free access.
We’re making this shift because the way people find and engage with our content is changing. Google’s search algorithms are making it harder to connect the right content with the right people. Plus, tools like ChatGPT are now serving up our content without crediting it to MoldMaking Technology.
So, it’s become more important than ever for us to adapt and get a better understanding of who is accessing our content, what content they are accessing and how they are accessing it.
With this new approach, we aim to:
- Deliver more personalized content to our readers based on their interests in moldmaking, processes and technologies.
- Connect our readers with the products, equipment and services that match their needs, while supporting the suppliers who help make this possible.
