Mike Rowe is at it again ... in a good way! He continues to campaign for our next generation of skilled workers and this time he shares his take on this old poster that reflected the country's mindset about work.
He says that this poster actually hung in the offices of guidance counselors while they were sitting at their desks advising kids on their future career paths.
I believe the message in this poster still reflects the mindset of many people, which is one of the biggest reasons we lack a skilled workforce today.
Among many of Mike Rowe's efforts (including mikeroweworks, profoundlydisconnected.com, a new scholarship program based on work ethic, the S.W.E.A.T. Pledge, etc.), he updated this poster and made it reflect the truth about work.
