Integrity Mold & Tool, a world class mold manufacturer, has opened its first plastic injection molding facility in the United States, Integrity Injection Molding, Inc., located at 512 Tarpley Shop Road in Pulaski, Tennessee. The new 35,000 square foot building will begin with 5 presses from Krauss-Maffei and Yizumi, ranging from 500 tons to 1800 tons, with capacity for future growth. Integrity Injection Molding will offer quality systems, tooling support, mold flow analysis, in house tryouts, R&D support, design visibility and logistics services for both automotive and non-automotive customers.
Ultra Machining Company (UMC) announces it has entered into a Letter of Intent with the City of Monticello Economic Development Authority (EDA) regarding the potential expansion of the UMC facility at 500 Chelsea Road East, Monticello, Minn. The EDA, in partnership with the City of Monticello, will be working to acquire land and implement economic development incentives to support the development.
Hasco took this as an opportunity to set up the Hot Runner division, which currently consists of its own team of 70 competent employees. Experienced plastics engineers, mold designers and moldmaking specialists develop customized hot runner solutions for individual injection molding applications and support customers from the product idea right through to the production of the injection molded part.
Zimmermann Open House Showcases the FZ33 Compact
Zimmermann USA Inc. held its first open house event at its Wixom, Michigan, headquarters last week. In addition to an abundance of hospitality, the company put a spotlight on its FZ33 Compact milling machine, which is geared toward the moldmaking industry.
Mold maintenance training and solutions provider, MoldTrax LLC, hosted its first Hot Runner Extravaganza, a three-day seminar to teach mold designers and tooling engineers, managers, maintenance technicians and process engineers about all aspects hot runner systems at its Ashland, Ohio, facility. A record number of moldmaking industry professionals attended the event, hailing from companies across North America, including Newell Brands, MGS Mfg. Group, Cepheid, Axiom Group, Berry Global and others.
Westfall Technik's Mold Craft Tech Center has added a MHS M3 Micro Molding Machine to its wide array of micro molding capabilities. The M3 is a dedicated micro injection molding machine capable of producing small, direct gated plastic parts on a large scale. The electro-pneumatic molding cell delivers both high volume and low volume production capabilities that require extreme precision, quality, speed and flexibility.
